	Knoxville Medical Center can provide flu vaccines for your employees at your worksite. The flu vaccine provides over 70% protection against getting sick with the flu. You cannot get the flu from the vaccine - side effects are rare, but could include soreness at the injection site, low grade fever, and/or muscle pain. The vaccination begins to protect after approximately 1 - 2 weeks and can be effective for up to 6 months. On-site vaccines are available.
